ALL SUBMISSION REVIEWS ARE BLIND.
The length limit for prose pieces is 2000 words. We do not accept translations of nonoriginal work.
For artwork or photography, if the resolution of the image is too low, we may request a higher resolution.
The page limit for short film scripts is 5 pages. Submissions should be written in Master Scene format.
It takes several days for our editors to deliberate over each submission, so expect a week between submission and notification of acceptance/rejection.
To ensure a greater chance of publication, we highly suggest you take a look at previous years’ magazines here to get a feel of what we look for.
Past contributors to our online magazine, please wait at least two months from the date of your publication to resubmit work.
We are open to simultaneous submissions as long as you promptly let us know if they are accepted elsewhere. We do not accept previously published work.
Stillpoint asks for First North American Serial Rights to publish. Following publication, all rights revert back to the poet; we only ask that you credit Stillpoint as the place your work first appeared. If your artwork is accepted, we may choose to use it for merchandise and marketing.
All inquiries regarding submission guidelines that are not answered here or in the FAQs should be directed to uga.stillpoint@gmail.com.
